A note from our founder

Jay Signorello

Hi, I'm Jay Signorello, and I'm building Famzil.

I started this project out of pure frustration. Like many parents, I found myself constantly juggling overlapping sports schedules, family events, and school commitments. Trying to coordinate who's picking up who, what gear to bring, or when our kids were even available to play became a weekly puzzle, and honestly, a stressful one.

I wanted to make our soccer life easier. I wanted a way to remember the small but important details, share availability with coaches effortlessly, and actually feel in sync as a family. I also wanted my kids to have visibility into what's going on—not just so they feel more included, but also (let's be honest) so they'll stop asking “What's happening this weekend?” every five minutes.

When I couldn't find a tool that really worked for us, I decided to build it.

Building technology that makes people's lives better has always been the most fulfilling work I do. I've founded a successful startup in the past, but I'm doing this one differently. I'm not raising money to chase growth at all costs. I don't want to be forced to make decisions that go against what families actually need. Famzil will be built with a “families first” mindset—starting with my own.

To make Famzil sustainable, yes, it will be a paid product. But I'm committed to keeping it fairly priced and truly accessible. I'm not trying to build the next Facebook. I'm trying to build something useful, thoughtful, and built to last.

If you're invited to try Famzil early, there's no charge. All I ask is for your feedback and your patience as we continue shaping this into a truly useful family app.

Thanks for being part of it,

Jay
